An Urban Oasis in Downtown Atlanta

Indulge in the rare chance to sleep in an architectural masterpiece. Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown is revered architect John Portman’s postmodern baby. Just past his silvery outdoor sculpture “Belle,” guests enter into a spacious, light-filled lobby filled with objets d’art, abstract paintings, and a floating glass-and-steel spiral staircase, all meticulously masterminded by the acclaimed Atlanta architect. From Peachtree sours and spiced caramel pecans at the circular, canopied bar within JP Atlanta Restaurant & Bar to custom design details in every luxe guest room, the guest experience echoes Atlanta's modern style.

  • “Will definitely come back”

Aloha Gabriele, We had a fantastic stay at Indigo and will definitely come back to that hotel when visiting Atlanta. Your staff from the moment we entered were very cheerful and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the look, feel and the friendliness of the staff. Please pass on a warm Mahalo to all especially Devon and Chris.

  • “Great room, great location in downtown Atlanta”

This hotel is conveniently located to several eateries and attractions. We walked to World of Coca-Cola and the Aquarium. A Starbucks is just steps away and great food is all around. Our room was large and beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. A great experience.

  • “Mix of American/European-style hotel”

Fine accommodations, very comfortable bedding/pillows. Furniture, desk, sitting chair, and closest all fit remarkably in the space. Excelkent A/C. I wish I could have stayed another evening. Right on Peachtree Street with several historic sites just down the street and next door. Loved the lobby and creative wall covering at Reception Desks.

  • “Perfect location for doing business at AmericasMart”

Had to meet several clients at AmericasMart during the Atlanta Gift Show. What a perfect location - they have an interior walk-way to the commercial building next door. Valet parking, very friendly front desk staff, inviting bar and very comfortable room.

Famed architect John Portman’s soaring atria and cloud-grazing glass elevators grace skyscrapers around the world, but no city better embodies his postmodern aesthetic than his hometown of Atlanta. Portman shaped the city’s skyline throughout the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s, and today, he has reimagined one of his original designs — 230 Peachtree Center — into downtown Atlanta’s most sought-after hospitality hub.
